Unpaid Internship - Graphic Designer
Seeking undergraduate junior or senior student for unpaid Graphic Design Internship at Greater Washington Publishing, LLC for the SUMMER SEMESTER. Candidates must be reliable and commit to the same block of time each week (approximately 14-20 hours a week), and be willing to take direction. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a college/university and able to receive college credit for the internship.
Job duties include assisting Art Directors and Graphic Designers of four different publications in all phases of PRINT design and production, including but not limited to magazine layout, proofing, and designing various promotional/marketing pieces.
Candidate must exhibit an instinctual enthusiasm for layout and design and be skilled in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Must be comfortable working on a MAC platform.
