Blog Writer Intern

Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Write 10+ blog articles a week (500-1000 words) based around home decor, interior design, DIY projects, renting and/or apartment living.

Write about the DC/VA/MD Metro area and the region in terms of things to do, local nightlife, entertainment and events.

Write descriptions for featured apartment communities.

Proofread, edit, and format blog articles in WordPress and Microsoft Word submitted by writers. Submit for final review.

Reach out to bloggers who cover local and/or design content and inquire about guest writing opportunities.

Possible Other: Update Area/City/County write ups, Update Quick Facts on List View

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Working towards a degree in English, Creative Writing or Journalism, plus completion of at least one class in aforementioned subject

Three story ideas that match our style and content
